OUR MISSION AND DESIRE:

The weekend of April 26 – 27, 2014 has been designated as the 24th Annual “Just Pray NO!” to drugs Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting. Since April 7th, 1991 “Just Pray NO!” Ltd. has sought to unite Christians from around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of the addicted and their families. Not only is substance abuse America’s number one health problem, the devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide. Substance abuse has been directly linked to violence and sexual immorality and is a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities. The “War on Drugs” directly impacts the “War on Crime” and the “War on Terrorism!”

Make a formal commitment to join with believers in Christ from around the globe next April. Put on the full armor of God and fervently pray in spirit and in truth. We are again seeking to enlist millions of prayer warriors from around the world to join us in battle!

We are not only praying for the release of those bound by substance abuse but also for people to be delivered from pornography, gambling and obesity.

Empowered and directed by God the Spirit, the body of Christ should pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the following specific prayer points:

1. Pray that the Holy Spirit brings conviction of guilt as to sin, righteousness and judgment to those bound by addiction. (John 16:8-11)

2. On behalf of the addicted, break every stronghold, demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Pray that their every thought be taken captive in obedience to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)

3. Pray that our fast will be pleasing to God and will set the oppressed free and break every yoke of addiction. (Isaiah 58:6)

4. Pray that the addicted will seek after God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength (Deuteronomy 4:29) and will place their trust in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord.

5. Pray that those who are enslaved to carnal desires will be set free and instead hunger and thirst for the Word of God and the righteousness of Christ.
(Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 6:33)

  3. I’m stepping out in faith here me and my 10 year old daughter will be in prayer with you. Our lives have been greatly affected from the life of an addict. I thank God and Jesus for my own deliverance from alcohol and drugs. As we stand in the gap I ask that everyone lift up my children’s father who is bound by Meth and alcohol who is living a life transgressing against the WORD of God. I’m standing on the Word of God that the Lord has driven him out but he will return back to the Lord with his whole heart. That the Lords will be done. And I thank the LORD for taking care of us. He is truly the father to the fatherless. Thanks be unto to you Jesus! And thank you for doing this it’s truly needed in my hometown of Pyramid Lake, Nevada (Paiute Indian Reservation)

    • Thank you for your testimony and bless you for your commitment to pray for the addicted. May the Lord hear the cry of your heart and deliver your children’s father from his addictions to meth and alcohol. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN

      • Dear Fernanda:

I agree that we need the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit and His manifest presence in our lives to empower our prayers and conform us into the image of Christ.

  6. Hello 3 weeks ago i lost a nephew to suicide, alcohol and weed played a big part in this. 2 years ago my brother also committed suicide, again weed was involved. Those who are left behind are heartbroken and devastated my sister is bereft, no one should have to bury their child. My sister is a redeemed child of God but she is finding it hard to believe, please pray for her and her family. There are other members of our family who also have alcohol and drug problems. Over the last few weeks the Holy Spirit has been leading me into spiritual warfare, i have been studying the scriptures and he has led me to many books and sites, one of them being yours. Praise God because he is wonderful and mighty in power. I will certainly be joining you in prayer and am going to motivate our church to pray also. I believe God is working mightily on our behalf, i thank and praise his Holy
Name for you and all those who walk in the victory Jesus obtained for us on the cross. The peace of Jesus i give you, may he empower us and protect us in this battle.

    • Dear Sheila, My heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathy for the losses that you have experienced in your family.

In the precious name of Jesus I pray that our Father in heaven will pour out His grace and mercy upon your family. I pray that the Holy Spirit will provide comfort and peace to those who are in mourning and bring conviction to the surviving members of your family who are struggling with alcoholism and drug addiction. AMEN

In His Name and for His Glory, Steven Sherman

Our mission is to reach those who are broken, lost, and hurting and to empower and encourage them through the Holy Bible. Our Ranch is a house of Prayer and our vision is to strengthen, heal and reunify shattered families and bring them to a turned heart back to God.
We will be joining you and standing with you in this fight against addictions. We have been anointed along with you to bind up the brokenhearted, proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness the prisoners.

    • Dear Pastor Coit:

May our precious Redeemer and glorious Lord bless you, your family and your work for the kingdom at Cornerstone Ranch exceedingly abundantly for your faithfulness to fulfill your calling and for standing along with us during our annual prayer event.

  14. My husband is fighting addiction. Please all that read pray for him and his freedom of this powerful disease. God Bless

    • Dear Heavenly Father and Great Physician:

In the precious and powerful name of Messiah Jesus, I ask the Holy Spirit bring conviction of sin, righteousness and judgment to Mrs. Parker’s husband. I pray that he has a humble and contrite spirit and cries out to Jesus to be saved, delivered and set free. I thank you dear Abba for hearing and answering our prayers. We give You all the glory, honor and praise that is due your Holy Name. AMEN

  15. Sister, we first must remember that Victory starts with the name of Jesus on our lips! so, in the name of Jesus, we lay this man at Your throne and pray for his salvation and then we pray for the freedom that it brings to come in completion; breaking every chain of addiction over him in the mighty name of Jesus. thank You, Father, for commanding Your angels concerning him to guard him in all his ways. Give strength to my sister as she stands in the gap for her husband, give her wisdom and grace. In Jesus name amen

  16. Dear Faith:

I am sorry to learn of your husband’s medical situation. Too often a nursing home is more interested in profit than the proper care of its patients. The quality of food and the care provided may suffer in order to keep the cost of doing business low. Patients may be over medicated to keep them sedated. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that your husband will be healed, comforted and strengthened. AMEN

  17. I have heard and seen these stories Di many times, and as a nurse, it grieves my heart that patients no longer are priority.

Jesus is the Great Physician and He still heals and saves.
The Church holds the answers for healing on mind, bodies and spirits!
