Empower Your Prayer Life, Read: PRAYING IS NOT FOR WIMPS
Make your prayer life powerful. Learn how to personally interact with God when praying. Find the keys to develop a strong spiritual connection to God.

People usually think of praying as simply talking to God. This is not true! Real praying is the actual spiritual interaction that takes place between an individual and God when they engage each other. By reading, Praying is not for Wimps by Dr. Freddy Davis you will find the keys to developing the strongest possible connection with God in the spiritual battlefield.

When thinking of prayer, our tendency, is to consider it in terms of the words we use to address God. Along that vein, very intelligent people have, over the years, identified the categories of conversation that are typical to praying. You are, no doubt, familiar with the most common ones - praise/adoration, thanksgiving, confession, intercession, petition, and so on. Other very smart people have come along and developed systems to help us be more effective in organizing the categories so that we have methods to help us pray.

Dr. Freddy has nothing bad to say about these categories or the systems. However, if we believe that praying is simply following a systematic approach to organizing the words we speak to God, we are sadly mistaken. We certainly speak when we pray, but if we are not standing in the presence of God when we speak, we have not prayed.

Praying is not uttering words, it is communing with God. The first step that must happen, before we ever utter a single word, is to step into the presence of God. We do that by the use of our imagination and thoughts. This does not mean that we are creating something artificial. God is a real, objective person. It is just that he is pure spirit. We have to realize that the essence of communication with God is spiritual, and we have to place ourselves in a mode to communicate with him on that level. Once that step is taken we are able to move beyond merely saying things to God. We can engage him in conversation.

People who read Praying is not for Wimps will learn:
     1. How praying, in its essence, is a personal interaction with God,
     2. The nature of the God we pray to,
     3. Why it is possible for us to have a personal conversation with God,
     4. How praying is more than merely following a ritualized formula,
     5. What it takes to develop our prayer life to higher levels, and
     6. What we can do, specifically, to make our praying more effective.
