OUR MISSION AND DESIRE:
The weekend of April 15th – 16th, 2023 has been designated as the 33rd Annual “Just Pray NO!” to drugs Worldwide Weekend of Prayer and Fasting. Since April 7th, 1991 “Just Pray NO!” Ltd. has sought to unite Christians from around the world in intercessory prayer on behalf of the addicted and their families. Not only is substance abuse America’s number one health problem, the devastation of alcoholism and other drug addiction has impacted families and communities worldwide. Substance abuse has been directly linked to violence and sexual immorality and is a major source of income for organized crime and terrorist activities. The “War on Drugs” directly impacts the “War on Crime” and the “War on Terrorism!”
Make a formal commitment to join with believers in Christ from around the globe to pray for the addicted and their families. Put on the full armor of God and fervently pray in spirit and in truth. We are again seeking to enlist millions of prayer warriors from around the world to join us in battle!
We are not only praying for the release of those bound by substance abuse but also for people to be delivered from pornography, gambling and obesity.
Empowered and directed by God the Spirit, the body of Christ should pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ for the following specific prayer points:
1. Pray that the Holy Spirit brings conviction of guilt as to sin, righteousness and judgment to those bound by addiction. (John 16:8-11)
2. On behalf of the addicted, break every stronghold, demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God. Pray that their every thought be taken captive in obedience to Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5)
3. Pray that our fast will be pleasing to God and will set the oppressed free and break every yoke of addiction. (Isaiah 58:6)
4. Pray that the addicted will seek after God with all of their heart, soul, mind and strength (Deuteronomy 4:29) and will place their trust in Jesus Christ as both Savior and Lord.
5. Pray that those who are enslaved to carnal desires will be set free and instead hunger and thirst for the Word of God and the righteousness of Christ.
(Deuteronomy 8:3; Matthew 6:33)

I’m stepping out in faith here me and my 10 year old daughter will be in prayer with you. Our lives have been greatly affected from the life of an addict. I thank God and Jesus for my own deliverance from alcohol and drugs. As we stand in the gap I ask that everyone lift up my children’s father who is bound by Meth and alcohol who is living a life transgressing against the WORD of God. I’m standing on the Word of God that the Lord has driven him out but he will return back to the Lord with his whole heart. That the Lords will be done. And I thank the LORD for taking care of us. He is truly the father to the fatherless. Thanks be unto to you Jesus! And thank you for doing this it’s truly needed in my hometown of Pyramid Lake, Nevada (Paiute Indian Reservation)
Thank you for your testimony and bless you for your commitment to pray for the addicted. May the Lord hear the cry of your heart and deliver your children’s father from his addictions to meth and alcohol. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray. AMEN

The 14yr old is cutting and struggling emotionally, the 9yr old has inflamed limph nodes around her colon, both are honor students in school. We are praying and believing for many miracles in our family, as well as others. Our daughter rededicated her life to God and prayed for deliverance and healing this last Sunday. Dear Fernanda:
I agree that we need the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit and His manifest presence in our lives to empower our prayers and conform us into the image of Christ.
Hello 3 weeks ago i lost a nephew to suicide, alcohol and weed played a big part in this. 2 years ago my brother also committed suicide, again weed was involved. Those who are left behind are heartbroken and devastated my sister is bereft, no one should have to bury their child. My sister is a redeemed child of God but she is finding it hard to believe, please pray for her and her family. There are other members of our family who also have alcohol and drug problems. Over the last few weeks the Holy Spirit has been leading me into spiritual warfare, i have been studying the scriptures and he has led me to many books and sites, one of them being yours. Praise God because he is wonderful and mighty in power. I will certainly be joining you in prayer and am going to motivate our church to pray also. I believe God is working mightily on our behalf, i thank and praise his Holy

We will be praying on this weekend Each Friday we also pray for those battling addictions!!
May our precious Lord and savior bless you abundantly for your commitment and faithfulness to prayer for the addicted.
Dear Faith:
I am sorry to learn of your husband’s medical situation. Too often a nursing home is more interested in profit than the proper care of its patients. The quality of food and the care provided may suffer in order to keep the cost of doing business low. Patients may be over medicated to keep them sedated. In the mighty name of Jesus, I pray that your husband will be healed, comforted and strengthened. AMEN
I have heard and seen these stories Di many times, and as a nurse, it grieves my heart that patients no longer are priority.
Jesus is the Great Physician and He still heals and saves.
The Church holds the answers for healing on mind, bodies and spirits!
I have a step son who is in rehab now from meth he is doing great and I have been praying everyday for him and all those who are addicted I pray when he comes out he does not get hooked back into it he has choosen to do this rehab it is not a forced rehab

Thank you for committing to pray for the addicted. May the Lord bless you abundantly.
If he has chosen to do rehab, I hope he has chosen to call upon the name of the Lord as well. Addiction is a spiritual bondage that needs to be broken in the name of Jesus, and by the indwelling power of the Holy Spirit. He has to change on the inside before he can find victory and be freed his addictive behavior. Praying for him daily is a wonderful and important commitment. May our loving God and Savior bless you and your son.

Hi everyone, struggled with my weight all my life. Addicted to sugar and food in general. Find my self nearly 400lb and feel so out of control. Trying to change careers in a more active career. Even just walking is effort but staying on my feet over 12hrs makes me come home and feel exhausted beyond compare. I have tried so many things to change. But I always end up back where I started or worse with more weight on. Addiction runs in my family, drugs, alcohol and gambling. But I got the food addiction. Now my little girl who is only ten eats the same way I do and I am so scared for her. I feel like I have passed this horrible condition on to her. Food has been like a close confidant and friend for so many years. I have prayed and prayed god please take away the gluttony and sloth. I just want to be a good mum to my kids. I cant remember my kids not being teased about having a fat mum. And my kids cry and beg me to lose weight before it kills me. I don’t have a church or a lot of friends. But please could someone please pray for me to have this wretched addiction to overeating, over obsessing with food and food addiction and under exercising . To be taken from me that I can love and be motivated to exercise and watch my intake and reduce my portions and get back to my health right size for who i am meant to be to do gods purpose. That i be free from this gluttony and sloth. I just want to be a good role model to my family, be a good mum that cooks, cleans and cares for her babies as a mother should. Not like it is. Not like I am. Thank-you so much for anyone that could please pray. I will also pray for you all as well. Now and on the weekend of prayer. Thank you with all my heart.
Dear Allie:
The key to breaking your food addiction is to have Jesus heal the “root cause” of your addiction. You have already taken the first steps towards your healing and deliverance. You recognize the problem and are seeking God’s help and intervention. It is important to understand that as in any type of self-medication; whether drugs, alcohol or food, you have been trying to find temporary relief from past emotional and/or mental wounds and hurts. The next important step is to do an honest assessment of who has abused or ridiculed you during your formative years and forgive them. Forgiveness is powerful and God who has forgiven us of much commands that we forgive others.
God is the Father of All Mercy and the God of All Comfort. When you turn to anything or anyone other than God when you are struggling with an issue. it is idolatry. Ask Father God in the name of Jesus to forgive you. Allow the Holy Spirit to enable you to make the right choices in “what” you are eating and “why” you are eating. Are you eating because you are depressed, lonely or trying to cover-up any other emotional pain? Instead, draw near to God and let His love and comfort transform you.
Do not let your physical appearance and the lies of the devil keep you from joining a local church or Bible study. The enemy goes after the lone sheep. If they are truly Christian (and not hypercritical), they will accept you and support you. You need friendship and prayer partners.
Heavenly Father and God of All Comfort:
I pray in the matchless name of Jesus our Messiah, that You will lead, guide, comfort and deliver Allie from her past hurts and present physical condition. I pray that she will know your unconditional love and be empowered by the Holy Spirit to make proper dietary choices and be set free from food addiction. Guide her into a loving Christian fellowship with people that will show her your love. Bless and protect her children and keep them from any type of addiction.
I thank You and give You all the glory, honor and praise that is due your Holy Name. AMEN
